The Chambo Challenge
On Saturday 14 October 2017 Andy participated in the “Chambo Challenge”. Each year The Chamberlain Foundation aims to present participants with a different challenge designed to test them both mentally and physically. The money raised from these events are used to fund specific programs identified by Lifeline and the Chamberlain Foundation to help suicide prevention, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Resilience Programs for young people.
This year was a “4.1 event” which involved completing an obstacle course specially prepared by Lee Campbell of B.FIRM. During the course of the event it is estimated that 4.1 men, women and children will have taken their own life. For this challenge, Andy had to be up at 4.30am for a 6.00am start, for which he successfully completed in 2 hours. Well done Andy!
